What are Workouts?
Workouts allow for a seamless flow through desired exercises - customised and created in the Hub and utilised in the V2 Capture App.
How to create a Workout
Workouts are customised and created in the Hub. They also allow coaches to review workouts completed, along with viewing any comments and RPE score left by the athlete. The video below will take you through how to build workouts on the Hub.
How to assign Workouts to certain groups
Note: Groups are only available from our Core* package.

With the group assignment feature, coaches can assign workouts to specific groups of athletes. When the athletes log on to their Output Capture app, they will only see workouts that have been assigned to their group.
Learn how this feature can streamline your processes by checking out our walk-through video below, or by downloading a quick pdf guide here.
How to assign labels to certain workouts
Workout labelling allows you to create and assign labels to your workouts, enhancing your ability to organize and filter them more effectively and efficiently. You can create customised labels, which will allow you to filter your workouts based on various criteria such as phases, blocks, intervals, specific targets, season blocks, semesters etc.
You can check out the full article on Workout Labelling here or you can watch the video below.
How to specify whether or not to use the sensor during a workout
When using Output you may not always want to use the sensor for tracking data.
If you are using any exercise from the Barbell Velocity, Slams, Swings & Throws, Strength Endurance, and Strength Pathway in your workout, you can use the non-sensor tracking option. Simply uncheck the box that reads 'Use Output Sensor' when adding the exercise to the workout. This will still allow you to specify reps and weight.
How to set a rest timers within a Workout
While completing a workout, a rest timer will appear between each exercise indicating the clasped time between sets. When creating your workout you can set the duration for the rest timer for any exercise in your workout.
If you set a rest time, a green bar will show on the 'UP NEXT ' banner. Once the rest time has elapsed it will ding and the bar will then turn red, indicating that the rest time is over.
If no timer is set, the rest timer will still show on the top right of the 'UP NEXT ' banner, but won't show the progress bar.
Important: Workouts now automatically finish if inactive for over 1 hour. The longest a workout can remain inactive is 2 hours.
