How to Save Workouts to the Library

You can save a workout session to your Workouts Library so it can be reused across programs, athletes, or future training cycles.

Written by Leon Foley

There are two ways to save workouts to the library:

  1. From the Program Builder

  2. From the Calendar View

Why Save a Workout to the Library?

Saving a workout allows you to:

  • Reuse proven sessions quickly

  • Standardise programming across athletes or teams

  • Build a structured library of templates

  • Import workouts into future programs

Important: Workouts used inside programs or calendars are copies. Saving creates a standalone version in your library.

Method 1: Save from the Program Builder

Use this method while building or editing a program.

Step 1: Open your program

Navigate to Programs and open the program containing the session you want to save.

Step 2: Open the session menu

On the session card, click the three-dot (⋮) menu.

Step 3: Select “Save as new workout”

Click Save as new workout from the dropdown.

Step 4: Confirm saving

A confirmation window will appear. Click Save to library.

Your session is now saved as a reusable workout in the Workouts Library.

Method 2: Save from the Calendar View

Use this method when a program has already been scheduled to an athlete or group.

Step 1: Open Calendars

Go to Calendars and select the athlete or group.

Step 2: Open the scheduled workout

Click the workout session on the calendar to open its details panel.

Step 3: Open the workout menu

In the session panel, click the three-dot (⋮) menu.

Step 4: Select “Save workout to library”

Click Save workout to library.

The session will be saved to your Workouts Library.

Accessing Saved Workouts

Once saved, you can find your workout in:

  • Workouts (Library section)

  • Import options when building programs

  • Scheduling tools

Important Notes

  • Saving creates a separate library version of the workout

  • Future edits to the program or calendar session will not update the saved library version

  • Likewise, editing the library version will not change sessions already placed in programs
