Overview
Compliance tracking in the Calendar View gives coaches a clear picture of how athletes are performing against their prescribed programs, at both the group and individual level.
You can now quickly identify which athletes are on track, which are falling short, and when workouts have been missed - without needing to dig through individual athlete profiles.
Note: Compliance tracking is available to coaches on Output Program Package.
How compliance is calculated
Compliance is based on sets completed vs. sets prescribed for a given workout.
Status | Threshold | What it means |
On Track | ≥ 80% of sets completed | Athlete achieved the training stimulus |
Partial Compliance | 65-79% of sets completed | Athlete completed most of the work but may need attention |
Not Compliant | < 65% of sets completed | Insufficient volume - worth following up |
Missed | 0% - workout date has passed | Athlete did not complete the workout |
Scheduled | Workout date is today or in the future | Not yet due |
Excluded | Athlete was excluded from the workout | Not counted in compliance |
Important compliance rules
Compliance is calculated at the set level, not the rep level. If any reps were completed in a set, that set counts as completed.
Ad hoc workouts (athlete-initiated, no prescribed sets) are not included in compliance calculations.
If an athlete swaps an exercise, the completed sets for the swapped exercise still count towards compliance.
If an athlete does more sets than prescribed, compliance is capped at 100%.
In-progress workouts are not included until completed.
Viewing compliance on the Group Calendar
Open the Calendar in Output Hub and select a group.
On past events, you'll see an attendance count directly on the calendar event (e.g. "8 attended").
Click on an event to open the side drawer.
The side drawer displays all athletes assigned to the workout, sorted by compliance status - athletes who need the most attention appear first.
For each athlete, you can view:
Compliance status (On Track, Partial, Not Compliant, Missed)
Compliance percentage (sets completed / sets prescribed)
The date the workout was completed
You can sort the athlete list by Status or Compliance % using the column headers.
If no athletes have completed the event
For past events: the event shows as 0 attendance / Missed
For future events: no attendance data is shown
Viewing compliance on the Athlete Calendar
Open the Calendar and select an individual athlete.
Past events display a completion indicator directly on the calendar.
Click on an event to open the side drawer.
The side drawer shows:
Compliance status and percentage for that workout
The date the workout was completed
Tips for using compliance effectively
Use the side drawer sorting options to quickly identify athletes who missed a workout or fell below the compliance threshold before your next session.
Compliance is most meaningful when workouts have clearly defined sets - ensure programmes are structured before assigning.
If an athlete opened a workout and saved it without completing any sets, they'll show as attended with 0% compliance.
