Step 1: Open Your Program
Go to Programs
Open the program you want to edit
Locate the session containing the exercise you want to change
Step 2: Open the Exercise Actions Menu
Find the exercise within the session
Click the three-dot (⋮) menu on that exercise
A menu will appear with options including:
Swap exercise
Duplicate
Remove
Select Swap exercise.
Step 3: Choose a Replacement Exercise
A swap window will open.
Click the exercise field dropdown
Search or browse for the replacement exercise
Select the exercise you want to use
Step 4: Confirm the Swap
Click Swap to confirm
The new exercise will replace the original one in the session
You’ll see a confirmation message once the swap is successful.
What Gets Preserved When Swapping
When you swap an exercise:
The exercise position in the session remains the same
Set structure and formatting are preserved where applicable
The rest of the session is unchanged
Important: Changes made in the Program Builder only affect the program template.
They do not update workouts that have already been scheduled to athletes
They do not change sessions currently on an athlete’s calendar in the Hub or Capture app
Scheduled sessions remain exactly as originally assigned
To modify a workout that is already scheduled, you must edit it directly from the Calendar view.
